2024 Open Practices Have Started!!!

Huge Turnout at First Open Practices of 2024

The Carolina Men’s Baseball League held its first open practices for the 2024 season this past weekend. In Jacksonville, 18 guys comprised of new and current players, showed up to start working back into baseball form at Kerr St. Park. In Wilmington, we had a league-record 62 guys turn out to take some swings and get their gloves working again.

Thank you to all who showed up in week one!

Open practices are just that, open to anyone (18+) who wants to play baseball. There is no commitment when coming to an open practice, just bring your glove and your love for the game. The CMBL will host open practices every Sunday at Noon until the season begins. Kerr St. Park is the location for Jacksonville Open Practices. Roland Grise Middle School is the site for Wilmington Open Practice.

Teams are filling up quickly. Spots on teams are becoming limited. Make sure to secure your spot on a team before it is too late.
